EULAR Members
EULAR underscores the importance of combating rheumatic diseases not only by medical means, but also through a wider context of care for rheumatic patients and a thorough understanding of their social and other needs.
The members of EULAR are Ordinary members, Supporting members, and Honorary members.

Supporting Membership |
Supporting members are Corporate Members and Scientific Affiliates. A company or a scientific society active in the field of rheumatology, that wishes to become a Supporting Member of EULAR has to send its application to the Board. The Board decides upon the admission as Supporting Member. 27 corporate members support EULAR financially with their membership fees.

Honorary Membership |
As a mark of distinction, the Board may elect as Honorary Members natural persons who have rendered outstanding service in accomplishing the objectives of EULAR.

The European Alliance of Associations for Rheumatology, EULAR, is the organisation which represents the people with arthritis/rheumatism, health professionals in rheumatology (HPR) and scientific societies of rheumatology of all the European nations.

EULAR Governance
EULAR is governed by an elected board composed by 4 experts in rheumatology and one representative of each pillar (organisations representing other health professionals in rheumatology, patient organisations and scientific societies). Our activities are overseen by 5 content committees and 4 representation committees whose activities are delivered by several hundred expert rheumatology volunteers.

EULAR comprises communities around rheumatology which include member societies / organisations working on a variety of activities supporting EULAR objectives.
